Who is Family Faith Formation for? This registration is for anyone with children in grades K-6 seeking Family Faith Formation, First Communion, or Baptism. Our Faith Formation program is a family-based catechetical program that helps families grow in the transforming love of God by understanding and living the Catholic Faith. Our model for catechesis combines twice monthly Classroom Lessons with weekly Home Lessons.
Twice a month, students in Grades K-6 meet in classes by grade level, where volunteer catechists present the lessons.
Adult Formation & Community Building
Parents gather separately for adult Bible study, formation, and community activities while their children are in class. These sessions are held in the courtyard. Adults are asked to attend at least four of the formation sessions, but are welcome to attend all of the formation and community events. Find more information here.
Parents, equipped with materials and an understanding of the weekly lessons, teach their children the Faith. Lessons immerse families into the life and seasons of the Church and cooperate with the liturgical cycle. Learning is made fun through the use of games, activities, stories, memory verses, quizzes, and audios/music.
