This free event, presented by the St. Odilia Social Justice Council and member Allison Wells, J.D., will provide an overview of U.S. immigration law and how Catholic Social Teaching instructs us to exercise compassion for migrants. Topics include: history of the law, legal means of entering the United States, how foreign nationals may lose legal status, and relief options and rights of immigrants. The session is open to all who are looking for trustworthy information and guidance. Come learn, ask questions, and discover how we can support one another in faith and service.
